The zonal coordinator of NANS South-West Zone D, Adegboye Emmanuel Olatunji, and the chairman of NANS in Ogun State, Simeon Damilola Kehinde, jointly signed the statement. In the event that Mrs. Aisha Buhari does not order Mohammed’s release, the students threatened to block major roads throughout the South-West.
Mohammed, a 500-level student at Federal University in Dutse, Jigawa State, was charged in court and remanded to Suleja Correctional Center in Niger State for tweeting that the first lady was getting fat off of the money of the poor, according to gospelcable.

The body, which denounced Aminu’s ongoing detention, called it a violation of his fundamental human rights. It also said that Mohammed’s alleged brutality, harassment, and humiliation by the police, who are said to have acted on the first lady’s instruction, was an abuse of authority.
The first lady would face the wrath of Nigerian students from the South-West region if Mohammed is not released unconditionally in the next 24 hours, according to the statement, which also threatened to mobilize the entire student population in the South-West for a massive protest.
