The Nasarawa FA election committee has announced the date for the vetting of aspirants

Aspirants will be screened beginning on Wednesday, October 18, according to an announcement made by the local council of the Nasarawa State Football Association.

In a statement that was sent on Monday, the electoral sub-committee of the Normalization Committee, which is led by the Honorable Aliyu Bello, made the news.

The screening procedure is scheduled to begin at four o’clock in the afternoon simultaneously in a number of different places, which include Lafia, Doma, Akwanga, Keffi, and Karu.

In addition, the committee decided that the date of October 19 will be used to hear appeals that have been submitted by applicants who are unhappy with the results.

The appeals subcommittee will hold its meeting at High Court No. 1 in Keffi in order to review the candidates’ appeals from across the state and come to a decision. In addition, it was announced that after the conclusion of these appeals, the definitive list of candidates who met the requirements will be distributed for public consumption.

Following the screening process, the committee has asked that any appeals be sent to the secretary of the Nasarawa State Football Association Normalization Committee as soon as possible.

On Friday, October 20, the election will take place as per the current schedule.

The following is an excerpt from the statement: “The appeal subcommittee shall sit at High Court No. 1 Keffi to determine all appeals throughout the state.”

“Any and all appeals must be sent to the secretary of the Nasarawa State Football Association Normalization Committee as soon as the screening exercise has been completed.”
