A key member of Peter Obi’s presidential campaign council dies

According to reports, Mr. Irouno Chukwunonye, the Labour Party’s (LP) candidate for the Okigwe, Imo State, House of Assembly, has passed away.

According to what was learned, Chukwunonye slumped on Monday night and was declared dead early on Tuesday.

He was a former member of the Obi-Yusuf Datti Presidential Campaign Council and the Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State’s Senior Special Assistant on Entertainment.

Chukwunonye served as the Imo State Entertainment and Carnival Commission’s first chairman.

The late politician was slated to moderate Peter Obi’s campaign event today, Tuesday, in Owerri.
