After ordering her maids to assault a policewoman, a professor was arrested

The Police in Abuja have detained a Nigerian academician by the name of Professor Dike Zainab for allegedly ordering the attack of a female police orderly.

A Twitter user named @DejiAdesogan posted a picture of the policewoman's injured face along with the following statement:

TERRIFYING NEWS: Accounts of Prof. Dike Zainab of Area 11 in Abuja, who allegedly beat up her maids and assaulted her Police Orderly. A thorough investigation and legal action against the offenders will act as a deterrent. Absolute inhumanity and intolerance!

Ademuyiwa Adejobi, the spokesperson for the Nigerian Police Force, has now confirmed the Professor's arrest. He added that the matter would be heard in court.

Adejobi stated: “Police: Assault on woman: Since the event, we have detained the female professor and members of her staff, and the situation is receiving the attention it requires. FCT Command will immediately charge the case in court. It is completely rejected. We will still keep you informed soon. Tnks
