Olamide, a famous Nigerian musician and owner of the YBNL record label, gave a shout-out to cinematographer TG Omori, also known as Boy Director, in a throwback video interview with Tony Elemelu.
In an interview, Olamide Baddoo gives TG Omori a shout-out. This is one of the Nigerian music videos from the past that have held up well over time.
Olamide, who runs the YBNL record label and is a legend in Nigerian rap, always gives up-and-coming artists the spotlight and chance they need to take off.
This has been proven again by an old video of the rapper talking about TG Omori in detail during an interview.
After his Oil and Gas video, which was directed by TG, came out, the rapper talked to Tony Elemelu on Red TV and gave TG high marks.
Olamide had told Elemelu that TG Omori was from Cross River and was 22 years old at the time the video was made.
He also said that he had shot three videos for Timaya and was the brains behind the visuals for Naira Marley’s “Am I a Yahoo Boy,” adding, “More stuff is coming from him, he’s a very good guy.”
After a Twitter blog posted it, the video went viral on social media, and TG Omori used the tweet to say that it was the first video he ever made for Olamide.
