Posted by Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the Labour Party (LP), stated on Friday that President Bola Tinubu ought to receive the same fate as Mmesoma Ejikeme, who tampered with her 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) result in order to emerge with the best score. Mmesoma Ejikeme tampered with her UTME result in order to appear with the highest score.
Recall that during his deposition on Tuesday, Caleb Westberg, the university registrar and deponent/witness of Chicago State University, stated that he does not have the certificate that Tinubu gave to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) before to the 2023 general election. Westberg was testifying on behalf of Chicago State University.
He emphasized once more that Tinubu did not submit an application for a new certificate, and that he was also never given one.
The allegation made by Westberg has prompted responses from a wide variety of people, many of whom have accused President Bola Tinubu of committing identity theft and forging his credentials.
In response to the forged certificate, Kenneth Okonkwo stated, during an interview with Arise TV, that the general public cannot judge and punish little Mmesoma.
After conducting an investigation into Mmesoma and discovering that she had forged documents, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) imposed a three-year suspension on her in order to act as a deterrence to others.
During his speech, Okonkwo stated that those people who dismiss the dispute surrounding Tinubu’s credential following CSU’s disownership as “trivial” had sold their soul and their conscience to the devil. Okonkwo was referring to the fact that CSU no longer owns the university.
He remarked, “You can’t condemn and punish Ejikeme Mmesoma who did pass her JAMB but inflated the scores, and then turn a blind eye to Bola Tinubu who forged Chicago State University Certificate.” Ejikeme Mmesoma did pass her JAMB exam, but her marks were inflated.
