Criminals in Benue are given a warning by the army: “We will crush you, peace is not negotiable in Benue

The Commander of Army Special Forces 4, Maj. Gen. Hilary Nzan, has issued a warning to all criminal elements in the state of Benue to leave the state immediately or give peace a chance.

Because “peace is not up for negotiation in the state,” the commander of the force, whose headquarters are located in Doma, Nasarawa State, has vowed to put an end to the activities of bandits and other criminal elements that are active in Benue.

The warning was delivered by Nzan during the beginning of Exercise Enduring Peace 111 in Tyodugh, which is located in the Agan Council Ward of Makurdi in the state of Benue.

On Wednesday in Lafia, news personnel were given access to a statement that had been published regarding the occurrence by Maj. Joseph Afolasade, who is acting as the Deputy Director of Army Public Relations for the command.

According to the contents of the statement, the commander stated that any criminal element that did not heed the warning by the command will be hunted down and destroyed by the armed forces as well as other security services.

He admonished people who engage in illegal activities, such as kidnappers, armed robbers, cattle rustlers, rebellious herders, and farmers, to reconsider their actions before engaging in such behavior.
