Decision on Peseiro’s future to be made by new Algerian FA boss this week

The hiring of a new coach for the Desert Foxes will be decided by Walid Sadi, the new president of the Algeria Football Federation (FAF), this week, according to DAILY POST.

L’ Equipe, a French newspaper, reports that Sadi is debating between Vladimir Petkovic and Jose Peseiro.

A pair of offers have been extended to Petkovic and Peseiro by the Algerian Football Federation.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has not yet extended Peseiro’s contract, and the Portuguese player has not yet heard from the soccer body about a possible extension.

He just stated that he will take his time deciding on his future plans. He is 63 years old.

After the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the Desert Foxes underwhelmed, prompting the Algeria Federation to seek a new coach.
