DSS Captures Woman Threatening Bomb Suicide

A 23-year-old woman named Fildausi Musa Ahamadu has reportedly been detained by Department of State Security agents for making suicide threats in response to the Kano Governorship Election Petition Tribunal's decision.

Remember that the tribunal had recognized Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the legitimately elected governor of the state and dismissed Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP).

In response to the development, Ahmadu threatened to kill everyone who was involved in the APC governorship candidate's tribunal triumph in a social media video that quickly went viral.

In the viral video, Fildausi was heard verbally assaulting the head judge of the Tribunal and threatening to hold her hostage with a bomb if she saw her anywhere.

Similarly, Ahamadu, who was sporting a red cap, issued a warning to Gawuna, saying, “You dare not reveal your location, or else I don't mind hitting you with a bomb vest to commit suicide.”

She also targeted Senator Kashim Shettima, the vice president, and accused him of being responsible for the court decision that did not support the NNPP in the North West state.

However, a source who wished to remain anonymous told Daily Post that Ahamadu has been taken into custody by secret police agents.

According to the source, agents detained the woman in her Kano city house.

The insider continued, “We are in fact taking Fildausi Musa Ahamadu to court because these threats should not be taken lightly.”
