Samuel Ortom, the governor of Benue State, will be presented with one of Rivers State’s highest honors today in Port Harcourt.
Governor Nyesom Wike will give Governor Ortom with the “Grand Service Star of Rivers State (GSSRS)” honor.

Speaking at an event yesterday regarding Governor Ortom’s selection for the honor, Governor Wike referred to Governor Ortom as a true friend of the people of Rivers who is reliable and trustworthy.
The award presentation is planned to take place this afternoon at Government House in Port Harcourt.
