Even though Cameroon defeated Brazil 1-0, the Indomitable Lions were unable to advance to the Qatar World Cup’s knockout stages.

This was due to the outcome of the other group game, which saw Switzerland win 3-2.

The lone goal of the game was scored in the 92nd minute by the captain of Cameroon, Vincent Aboubakar, who was then sent off for removing his shirt.

Gabriel Martinelli of Arsenal attempted to score in the 15th minute, but Epassy made a save and then another to halt the Premier League star before halftime.

Guimaraes’ header was similarly saved by Epassy to keep Cameroon ahead at the end of regulation.

“He’s going home as a hero, made a very excellent spectacular save here,” Okocha told SuperSport.

He made it appear simple because he was in the correct position, and they were able to follow up and push that one over. It was all about his placement.
