Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, the governor of Sokoto State and the head of the PDP’s Governors Forum, has been named director general of the National Campaign Management Committee (NCMC) for the 2023 elections by the PDP and its presidential candidate, former vice president Atiku Abubakar.
The party also named Chief Rymond Dokpesi as Deputy Director Technical and Systems, Professor Adewale Oladipu as Deputy Director Administration, Liyel Imoke, a former governor of Cross Rivers State, as Deputy Director General Operations, and Ekwesilieze Nwodo as Deputy Director Research and Strategy of the NCMC.
The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Udom Emmanuel, was also named Chairman, the Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, Vice Chairman North, and the Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, Vice Chairman South of the Presidential Campaign Council by the PDP on Thursday, according to a statement from its National Organizing Secretary, Hon. Umaru Bature (PCC).
As stated in the list, the governors of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike, and other governors are PCC members.
