Jada Pinkett Smith Admits That She Didn’t Want To Marry Will Smith But That Her Mother Forced Her To Do So

Jada Pinkett Smith, a well-known American actress and talk show host, recently admitted that she and her husband, Will Smith, never would have been married in the first place.

Recalls that the famous pair tied the knot in 1997 at the Cloisters Castle in Baltimore, Maryland, in the United States of America.

However, while appearing on her talk program titled “Red Table Talk,” Pinkett stated that it was never in her plans to wed Smith, and she emphasized that her mother put a lot of pressure on her to be married because she became pregnant.

In her words:

“I was really disappointed that I had to go through with the wedding. I was fuming with rage. I was shedding tears. I was in tears during the entire ceremony.

“Getting married was the last thing on my mind. I was under a lot of strain because of my position as a young actress who was also expecting. I was completely at a loss for what to do. But I was certain that I would never want to get married.
