Ogunmola, a House of Representatives candidate, has passed away

According to reports that reached gospelcable from the Oke Ogun geo-political zone in Oyo State, Hon. Jacob Funmi Ogunmola, one of the state's candidates for the House of Representatives, has passed away.

Up until his passing, Ogunmola was running for the House of Representatives in from the Atisbo/Saki West/Saki East Federal Constituency.

He formerly served as the chairman of the caretaker committee for the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone's Atisbo Local Government Area.

Ogunmola is an Ago Are, Atisbo local government area native, according to information obtained by our correspondent.

Ogunmola passed away shortly after attending a function in Saki on Sunday, according to sources who spoke with gospelcable on Monday.

The politician allegedly complained that he wasn't feeling well, and as a result, he was transported to Lagos for medical care.

Ogunmola reportedly passed away while being transported from Saki to Lagos.
