The Kaduna government confirms that the air force bombed a bandit stronghold

The bombardment of the terrorists' hideout by the Nigerian Airforce was confirmed by the State Government on Wednesday.

This was announced in a statement released on Wednesday by Samuel Aruwan, Commissioner, Kaduna State Ministry of Internal Security and Home Affairs.

He claimed that based on feedback from the Air Force commander, the Nigerian Air Force had continued its attacks on known bandit camps and enclaves in the area of Riyawa, Igabi LGA, in Kaduna State.

He claimed that a terrorist location at Tofa general area of Birnin Gwari LGA was similarly engaged and struck. He also claimed that a camp in Riyawa, Igabi LGA, was targeted and destroyed.

Close air support was given to ground forces conducting operations in the Birnin Gwari LGA's Maidaro, Dogon Dawa, Damari, Saulawa, and Farin Ruwa areas. He spoke.

The Kaduna-Birnin Gwari Road, Buruku, Kurmin Dande, Damba, Ungwan Yako, Udawa, Manini, Kuriga, Gagafada, Kushaka, Polewire, and Kamfanin Doka areas, spanning Chikun and Birnin Gwari LGAs, he claimed, were all the subject of armed reconnaissance. He added that no suspicious activity was seen at the locations covered.
