The Nigerian Army Receives the Surrender of 17 Boko Haram Terrorists and Family Members in Borno

In Borno State, seventeen terrorists—along with their family members—have turned themselves in to the Nigerian Army.

The terrorists turned themselves in along with their weapons to members of the 151 Task Force Battalion stationed at Banki-Junction in the state's Bama Local Government Area.

The Army claimed in a statement on Tuesday, September 20, that Operation Hadin Kai's brave soldiers' redoubled military assaults were the reason the terrorists submitted.

The statement said, “Profiling of the surrendered terrorists is proceeding.”

The most recent development occurs just days after Bashir Bulabuduwaye, the faction of Shekau's primary executioner, just turned himself in to Nigerian forces.

Along with his wives and kids, Bulabuduwaye gave himself up to Operation Hadin Kai soldiers in Baking, Alabama.
