Last Saturday, in a Serie A match against Genoa, Osimhen did not make the Napoli roster.
After returning from the Africa Cup of Nations with a slight muscular ailment and feeling exhausted, the Nigeria international was not considered fit to participate in the game.
After being selected Walter Mazzarri's replacement on Tuesday, Calzona said that the forward was fully trained on Tuesday.
While the team's training session was brief due to the abundance of preparation work, Calzona assured the media that Osimhen was working at a full tempo in the lead-up to the game.
“The evaluation of each player will be conducted following tomorrow's practice.”
On Wednesday, the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Napoli will play host to the opening leg.
