The start date of the 2023–24 season’s second half has been postponed by the Nigeria National League (NNL).
We regret to inform you that the resumption date has been rescheduled from Friday, February 16, 2024 to Friday, March 1, 2024.
Following their meeting in Abuja on Wednesday, the NNL board made the statement.
According to the NNL, the new date will provide clubs more time to complete mid-season player registrations and medicals.
In addition, they promised to make it easier for all 40 clubs to have successful league seasons.
At the moment, the leaders of NNL Conferences A and B are Madiba FC and Ikorodu City, respectively, while the leaders of Conferences C and D are Wikki Tourists and Sporting Supreme.
The league’s champion will be determined in the playoffs, which will feature two teams from each group.
