ASUU Promises To Defy Court Order Ordering Them To End Their Strike

The National Industrial Court's decision mandating that academics return to work right away will be appealed, according to the Academic Staff Union of Universities.

In order to file an appeal, the union said that it has started assembling its legal team under the supervision of renowned human rights attorney and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana.

Adelaja Odukoya, the union's Lagos zone head, urged members to keep their cool and unite to fight until the bitter end in a statement.

Recall that on February 14th, went on strike to press its demands, which include acceptance of the preferred payment network.
