The 2023 HEED-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarships Harmonization of Entrepreneurship Education Delivery in Africa (HEED-Africa) project is comprised of a collaboration of African and European partner universities. Addis Abeba University, Coordinating Institution (Ethiopia), the University of Ghana (Ghana), Milpark Education (South Africa), Makerere University (Uganda), Kyambogo University (Uganda), and the University of wolver Hampton compose the consortium (United Kingdom). Through a planned academic mobility flow that includes cooperative studies, research, academic activities, and mobility agreements among five regional higher education institutions, HEED-Africa attempts to support the development of student and staff academic interaction.
Criteria for Eligibility for HEED-Africa Academic Mobility Scholarships
To be considered for a scholarship,
At the time of application, master students must meet the standards outlined below.
Be a national of and a resident of any of the programmers eligible countries.
Be enrolled or admitted in, or hold a HEI degree or equivalent from:
In the case of Target Group I: Be registered or admitted to one of the HEIs involved in the partnership as a partner, or have received a HEI degree or equivalent from one of the HEIs included in the partnership.
Regarding Target Group II: Be registered or admitted to, or have received, a HEI degree or equivalent from a HEI that is not a partner in the collaboration but is located in an eligible nation.
Have a good command of the language of the courses in the host nations.
Under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme-2023, students can only receive one scholarship within the same project, regardless of the type of mobility or funding initiative.
Students who received scholarships under the old Intra-ACP Academic Mobility Scheme are ineligible to apply for scholarships under the Intra-Africa Academic Mobility Scheme.
No student mobility flows between universities within the partnership’s single country are eligible.
PhD candidates must:

Award monetary value: The scholarship will cover the following expenses:
*Flight ticket and visa fees are not included.
*Participation fees, such as tuition, registration, and service fees, if applicable.
*Insurance protection (including health, accident, travel, respectively).
*An allowance for settling in.
*A monthly living allowance.
*A contribution to the research costs connected with student migration of at least 10 months.
Female master’s and doctorate scholarship recipients will get an additional allowance equal to one month’s subsistence each academic year for mobility of two academic years or more.
