Posted by Dimeji Lawal, General Manager of Shooting Stars, has proclaimed that his team’s match against Doma United on Matchday 5 is a must-win.
On Sunday, the Oluyole Warriors will face the Savannah Tigers at Lekan Salami Stadium.
After their 0-0 tie with Akwa United in Eket, Lawal charged the team to focus on the game.
“I remember vividly that I told you after we lost to Bendel Insurance in Benin, that it was just the begining, you must believe in yourself,” he told the members of the club’s media.
“I’m glad you were able to pick up the pieces from there,” the ex-International, who also serves as the club’s team manager, added.
“At this point, I’m pleading with you to play in the next game against Doma United.” It will not be easy; we must mentally prepare for a difficult game while also preparing to score as many points as possible.
“The match is a must win, that is what will make the point secured against Akwa United count.”
